Nancy Craft MS, LPCC

Owner, Therapist

Helping others help themselves has been the focus of my life’s work.  I have over 25 years working with a diverse population of children/teens, adults, and families.  My work has supported my philosophy and practice of helping individuals  learn, grow, and heal through self-discovery,  self-acceptance, and self-compassion.    Self- discovery comes from understanding who you are and where you came from, and how cultural conditioning, relationships, and the experiences you have helped in creating patterns and beliefs in the present day. The therapy process includes empowering  individuals  to realize their inner wisdom, and discovering  their innate potential to lead a satisfying, fulfilling lifeOur bodies are designed to heal, we are capable of both facilitating healing, or creating barriers in our lives and within our relationships. My hope is that you will learn to use your voice in a kind and loving way for yourself, and  in your relationships.

I use a humanistic, client-centered, relational, approach in therapy, emphasizing the core belief that people are good at heart and are capable of finding the right choices for themselves.  I am trained in both EMDR and TF-CBT, evidence based practices to treat trauma.  My interests and training include: anxiety, trauma, grief and loss,  shame, relationship issues,  parent child conflict,  and attachment issues.  Understanding that the mind and body are intertwined , my practice incorporates mindfulness and  a holistic approach to cultivate wellness in your life.

I am currently working with teens (15-17) and adults. I am not accepting new clients at this time.  For more information, please contact me at nancy@lwcmn.com
